Quick Cooking Pickled Papaya

Hello friends! Mom was cooking pickled papaya today. It is one of my family's  most favorite Filipino side dishes. 

Cooking it is very easy but the laborious part is preparing the ingredients. All solid ingredients should be grated for it to have good texture and easy mixing process.

For our pickled papaya, we only have very few ingredients that includes : Unripe papayas, carrots, ginger, onions, cane vinegar, sugar and salt.

All ingredients should be mixed thoroughly in a heated pan and just have to cook them until the liquid is lightly boiling. 

This pickled papaya is perfect with dried fishes, grilled or fried fish and other meat dishes. It is mostly a good pair with something salty. 

Some pickled Papayas are having additional ingredients such as raisins, green beans and bitter melon. This is great food because it could even last a month if stored properly. We usually put them in a glass jar with a lid when it has cooled down from cooking. 

Cherry No More

Hi everyone! Since 2016 I have been a fan of Android One line of phones and that is the reason why I bought my Cherry Mobile phone last January 2016. 

I am very slow deciding person when it comes to mobile phones. I have to make sure that I get to know the specifications before I buy them plus the affordability of the item since I save money with sweat to buy this item. 

When buying a phone, I should be practical with the price and usability that is why I pick a midrange phone. 

I fell in love with stock android phones because it allows me to get rid of bloatware apps or the unwanted default applications that cannot be used and removed with the usual phones around. 

It was that time in 2015(If I am not mistaken) when Cherry Mobile worked with Google to make Android One, a Stock Android. 

I had ups and downs with this phone though mainly because it is Cherry Mobile and when it is Cherry Mobile, their after sales are so bad. Hopefully it improved nowadays because when I had this phone, after a couple of days the screen suddenly was having ghost touches and I am passed 7 days replacement period so I have to undergo agonizing waiting of repair. The screen repair took 1 month. You can guess why it took that long.

To make the long story short, my phone was repaired but I had to constantly threaten them just to give me updates of where my phone is already. 

Nevertheless, this phone is good since it gives me good and decent quality pictures, it was fast, and affordable. I bought this for around Php5,000.00. It was a good deal although I kinda regret buying it sooner. I did not wait further until the price lowered around Php4,000.00.

I had good memories with this phone and I do not regret buying it. It is working still but having shorter battery life is a struggle apart from the broken power and volume buttons. It will remain as my business phone though and just removed other apps  that makes the phone drain faster. 

Fast forward to January 31, 2020 and I am blessed to have a new phone courtesy of my favorite person, my love Seby🥰😘. I am so forever grateful for the thoughtfulness and love. I was saving up for my new phone but then he gave it to me as an advance birthday gift. 😌🥰 I love you my Seby! 🥰😊

I will definitely talk about my new phone soon since it is also an Android One phone. I am just excited about sharing more photos here soon since this has very good camera as well. 😁 No more Cherry Mobile phone for me and yes to Xiaomi Mi A3.

Vacation Off

Hello beautiful people! 😘

After over a month of vacation I am finally back to reality and even now, I am still hoping for an extension. It is not because I do not want to be home but because of the  people you want to be with who gives you positivity whether you are home or not.

If you have the option to choose, choose the people who supports you, gives you positivity and does not discourage you. Sometimes it's not that easy but go where your heart is happy as long as you are doing things right and you are not hurting people.

I wish things could be easier for me though...

Anyway, like I said vacation is over and I am stuck with tons of laundry to do. I think I will be hand washing them for more than a week because of the weather too. It has been raining and I need Mr. Sun to dry them all. Hopefully he shows up tomorrow. 🌞
