It is an OPM (Original Pinoy Music) night everyone and I am so eager to share this song to you. This is another soundtrack of the movie titled "Open" that starred one of the most beautiful actresses of my country, Arci Munoz and one of the most sought actor JC Santos.
A little background of the movie (by the way, this is about to be shown yet) : This is about a couple who takes the struggle of being in an open relationship. From what I can see in the trailer though, it is the woman (Arci) who is struggling more to save her 14 year relationship with her live-in partner. I am excited to see this movie because I am just wondering how will the writers justify the situation of each character's decisions.
This type of relationship is not really that accepted in the country. Maybe there is already but it is not that open talk that is why most of the people tend to cheat instead of settle things with communication and honesty. Although I find this type as a "cheat itself when settling in a relationship where you know you weren't reciprocated," I kinda feel it so degrading in my perspective as I am not really that accepting of the idea in a relationship.
Maybe that kind of relationship works for others granting that both people involved is aware and acknowledging their role. I am just excited to watch the movie heheh.
Anyway, I am more likely going out of the topic now so here is the beautiful song that I like to share. This is by the band I Belong to the Zoo. They are one of the best OPM bands who has beautiful songs. I love their contribution to Pinoy Music. I find Filipino songs leveling up so much these days with the kind of emotion they pack in every song.
Sana in the context of the song means "I Wish." This song is kinda painful. The chorus' says "I Wish you could have said so that I will no longer hope that it will be us in the end, I wish you've said because I will just let you leave to be happy." That is how it translates from Tagalog. I find it very emotional actually, Ouch! I kinda feel that as I was also in a similar situation. Anyways guys I hope you like this song I am sharing tonight.
