Good day everyone! Today I am sharing about what Vitamin Cs I have been using and why I like them. The first one I am sharing is sent to me by my sister so I have no idea how much this costs now, just in case you are interested this might be available in your local pharmacy if you live outside Philippines since it was sent from USA.
Chewable Vitamins are kinda appealing to me just recently because it makes my routine quicker and this is kinda convenient for me as someone who is not so fond of taking so much supplements with tons of water with them.
The first one is by CVS Health. It is a chewable Vitamin C that is made up of Ascorbic Acid and Sodium Ascorbate. The tablet has 500mg each of Vitamin C. Its serving size is 2 tablets per day so that makes it 1000mg.
Initially I was hesitant to take it as it might upset my tummy because it contains Ascorbic Acid, an acidic form of Vitamin C however, I am glad it is mixed with Sodium Ascorbate which is an alkaline form of Vitamin C. This might be just less acidic for me and fortunately I am able to take it without making my tummy upset.
I am taking it twice a day, after breakfast and after dinner. This has been my Vitamin C for almost a month now after I finished my other Vitamin C from Swanson.
The next Vitamin C I am showing above is by Swanson. It is called Buffered C. It contains 500mg per tablet and is made up of another non acidic form of Vitamin C called Calcium Ascorbate. I only prefer my Vitamin C non acidic and these are Sodium Ascorbate and Calcium Ascorbate.
It contains 250 tablets in a bottle and it is so good for me, as it is not acidic vitamin C. I love it too because I do not have separate Calcium supplements so I took it because it is good for the bones too. It took me a while to finish this one and definetly I will buy another once I ranout my chewable Vitamin C.
I bought this at Shopee for around Php500.00 via Cash on Delivery (COD). The tablets are not difficult to swallow. It glides smoothly down to your throat with enough water.
I paired my Vitamin C to MSM (Methyl Sulfonyl Methane) which I am gonna share next time. Vitamin C helps a lot for the MSM's proper absorption and I just can' t skip these two.
