Hello everyone!
So I am back and today I will tell something about how I eliminate my fungal acne. In my previous blog post, I mention that I cured my severe acne with water only however I mess that up again. I was once in YouTube and found a vlog about oil cleansing. It got me excited and I want to try that since it's been a while that I no longer use a product on my face. I was quite confident that my skin has fully recovered from the sever acne I had before.
What got me into oil cleansing is that I wanted to fix my frequent whiteheads on the corners of my nose. Although I was able to fix the worst acne ever in my life, there is still that imperfection that annoys me and that is the corners of my nose that is frequented by tiny whiteheads. Ot goes away within three days but it is just annoyin when you need to go out and you have them. Sometimes I get 2-3 small whiteheads at the same time. I have learned not to pop them too because it gives bumpy scars and I still have those from before by popping them before.
Moving on, I eventually start my oil cleansing with watermelon oil before bedtime. it was nice at first, it didn't cause any breakouts and then I was so pleased with the results because my face looks healthy glowy the following day and the pores are quite minimized. My face feels plump too and I like that.
After that, i got encourage to try the safflower oil and grapeseed oil and guess what, it was so moisturizing and good however when I started exercising my skin becomes so itchy and it leads to clumping red bumps. This happens each time I sweat and it's crazy because the slightest sweat on my face and neck is super itchy. It was a nightmare! I started having bumps all o er my jaw, neckline and even my forehead which I never grow any sort of pimples there after I cured my severe acne. I was suffering for a week and I was contemplating which products caused the reaction.
I found out it's the sweat and oil mixed together that feeds the littlest bacteria on our face, it's the yeast or fungus that caused this. It becomes worst because I live in a tropical country first of all and it's a huge NO when oil cleansing. It could cause fungal acne with sweat.
For my soultion, it's the anti dandruff shampoo head and shoulders and I found out about it from a vlogger as well.
I was so amazed as it relieved the itch on my first use and I they started drying out the following day. I just use the shampoo as facial wash, slowly massaging the affected areas and rinsing it thoroughly after. I was so thankful about this video.
Just remember not to leave it on longer on face as it can cause skin peeling. Now I am back to water on skin only routine, hopefully I will find a solution to my whiteheads issues on nose. The Head and shoulder shampoo kinda prevent it sometimes but it's still there.
For those who are wondering, that's the Head and Shoulders variant I am using but I have also seen some who uses another brand called Gard shampoo or Nizoral shampoo, those are still proven effective.
